 Make Western Europe a frontrunner in Electromobility

‘Closing the loop between Energy & Transport’

21 & 22 October 2019

Luxembourg City (Neumünster Abbey)

 

This ministerial event is organized with the support of IRENA, the Benelux Union and the Pentalateral Energy Forum [BENELUX-DE-FR-AT-CH]. This conferencewill gather key actors from all sectors involved in the Penta region: car manufacturers, electricity market players (TSO/DSO) and e-mobility actors (MSPs/CPOs). The first day, experts of the region and beyond will exchange on cross-border aspects on the matters of transport and energy. The second day, the rapporteur of each panel will report to the Ministers on their conclusions which will feed the ministerial discussion.

Under the Chair of Mr Turmes, Minister for Energy, and Mr Bausch, Minister for Mobility of Luxembourg, the morning session will start with the rapporteurs’ report on the 21rst October 4 sessions to all Ministers of Energy and Transport of the Penta Region. 

11.30 – 13.30     Ministers will have the opportunity to express their view, develop national policies, exchange and how they see the Pentalateral region having a positive input in a smooth and swift development of electro-mobility. 

13.30 – 15.00    LUNCH (Ministers only) : prolongation of the exchanges 

 

All panelists from the first day are encouraged to assist and intervene at the ministerial day session.
